Just in after an all day safari, had a great day, seen lots of Rhino.. group of seven with young, lions, giraffe, then had picnic lunch overlooking lake Nakuru.
Back in lodge now for sundowners before dinner and much needed sleep!
Just back from all day safari in Maasai Mara. What a day! First thing watched lions kill buffalo before breakfast, then found three cheetahs (dumas) resting underneath trees, herds of elephant, giraffe, antelope and other exotic creatures everywhere.
Now enjoying a cold tusker in bar before getting ready for dinner. What a fantastic day. We are underneath canvas in a thunderstorm.. a great way to finish the day. Back to Nairobi tomorrow for R&R, then off to Nakuru!
This is our last few days in Kenya, we have now been at the coast for a week relaxing after our fantastic safari. We are staying in the most amazing Swahili house on the sea front.
This morning we've been swimming with dolphins, about 60 or 70 in total & diving on the reef with hundreds of the most beautiful fish.
What a great trip and everybody thoroughly enjoyed the safari. We have a lot of pics and tales to tell!

We have just come in off a game drive and we watched 4 lions kill a buffalo then a pack of hyena and a pack of jackal finish off the carcass along with a flock of vultures.
Then on the drive back to our lodge we found another leopard in a tree, we leave for Amboseli In the morning.
Had two great days safaring in Nakuru and the photos are taken from there.
We were very lucky on our first safari to see a leopard at around 6 p.m.
Then the following morning had amazing luck to see a lion kill, by a female with three older cubs and even better saw her see off three young male lions who were trying to steal it.
Also saw numerous rhino, and lots of other game.
Having two days rest in luxury before setting off again to Nairobi and the Mara on Friday.
