Day 1
Arrive Jomo Kenyatta Airport, Nairobi, late evening. You will be met by your personal driver/ guide and taken to your Nairobi city hotel.
Day 2
After breakfast, set off for Lake Nakuru National Park where you will spend two nights. Arrive early afternoon in time for lunch, the afternoon can be spent relaxing around the lodge, swimming or walking through the grounds.
Afternoon game drive from 4.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. Return to lodge for pre-dinner drinks and early evening entertainment (traditional African dancing & singing). Dinner and bed.
Day 3
Early morning game drive in park, return to lodge for breakfast at 8.30 a.m. - 9 a.m. After breakfast the day is yours to relax, swim etc. until 4.30 p.m. when you will leave for an afternoon game drive until 6.30 p.m.
Return to lodge for pre-dinner drinks, entertainment and dinner.
Day 4
After breakfast, set off for Nanyuki, stopping en-route at Thomsons Falls lodge for coffee, sightseeing, etc.
Arrive at Sweetwaters Conservancy in time for lunch, after which relax, swim, etc. At 4.30 p.m. take a game drive through the conservancy, maybe visit the chimpanzee sanctuary. Return to camp for drinks and dinner.
Optional extra: Sundowners and snacks on the plain with night game drive.
Day 5
Early morning game drive at 6.30 a.m., return at 8.30/9 a.m. for breakfast and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.
At 4.30 p.m. take afternoon game drive with return at 6.30/7 p.m. for drinks, relax and reflect on your days experiences; followed by dinner.
Day 6 & 7
After breakfast, checkout you can go on a short game drive, then take the easy drive to Mount Kenya Safari Club where you will stay for the next two nights.
Here you can enjoy the luxurious ambience of this famous club; as well as relaxing in comfort, the facilities also include swimming, golf, horse riding, walking safaris on Mount Kenya and many other ways to pass your days.
Day 8
After breakfast, drive to Lake Naivasha where you will arrive in time for lunch, spend the afternoon at leisure.
You will spend the night at one of the luxurious lodges around the lake.
Day 9
- The following morning drive to the Maasai Mara where you will arrive in time for lunch.
Spend the afternoon at leisure then take an evening game drive to see the world famous Mara and all its amazing wildlife.
Day 10 & 11
During your time in the Mara you may wish to take a full day safari, taking a picnic lunch which can be taken on the plains whilst watching the surrounding game, also visit the Mara River where you can see hippo's, Nile crocodiles, along with wonderful wading birds.
During your time in the Mara you will have every opportunity to see all 'the big five'
Day 12
After breakfast drive to Nairobi hotel to arrive in time for lunch, afternoon relaxing around the hotel.
Day 13
To be spent in Nairobi, either shopping or you may wish to visit many of the well known places, such as Karen Blixens' home, the Giraffe Centre, Nairobi Museum and Snake Park.
Your driver will suggest places which may be of interest to you. After an early dinner your driver will take you to Jomo Kenyatta Airport for your journey home.
Accommodation is on a full board basis except in Nairobi hotels where this will be on a bed and breakfast only basis. During the full period of your safari your tour vehicle will be for your exclusive use and will not be shared by any third party.
All our drivers are qualified wildlife guides and their knowledge of both flora and fauna is second to none.
Options
Other than spending your safari holiday in Kenya, you may wish to visit either Tanzania, Uganda or Rwanda, if this is the case we can also work with you in organizing a holiday in any of these countries.
